Start with a drive through central Kenya traversing the Kikuyu countryside to the lower slopes of Mount Kenya, staying overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge, the tree hotel standing on the slopes of the snowcapped mountain for overnight floodlot game viewing. The proceed further north across the equator to the rugged landscapes of Samburu National Reserve, home to rarely found species for a 2 night stay, before heading down to Sweetwaters Game Reserve, a private reserve withs lots of wildlife including a Chimpanzee sanctuary.
Then proceed down to the floor of the Great Rift Valley to – Lake Nakuru National Park. Your last three nights will be at Maasai Mara Game Reserve, where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the “Big Five” lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant.

Day 1: Nairobi/Mountain Lodge
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through Kikuyu countryside to the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya arriving Serena Mountain Lodge (tree hotel) in time for lunch. Relax in the afternoon as you watch game from the balcony of the lodge, with an optional guided nature/forest walk. Overnight floodlit game viewing. Dinner and overnight at the tree hotel.

Day 2: Samburu
Depart after breakfast and drive further north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Samburu Serena Lodge in time lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge,Samburu Serena,Sarova shaba,Funan special campsite, Samburu Interprids, Samburu lodge, Ashnil Samburu camp,Elephant Bedroom camp, OR Joys camps (lunch, dinner and breakfast included)

Day 3: Samburu
Full day in Samburu, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive. Samburu is a beautiful and and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy\’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Optional activites include a visit to a local Samburu village, camel riding and guided nature and bird walks. All meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.

4: Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary
Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive back to the lower slopes of Mount Kenya – arriving Sweetwaters Tented Camp in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive in the private sanctuary (Sweetwaters Game Reserve), including a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. You will also visit Morani the tame rhino and the Visitors Information Centre.
Return to Sweetwaters Tented Camp for dinner and overnight (with an optional night game drives).

Day 5: Lake Nakuru
After breakfast drive down to the floor of the Rift Valley – to Lake Nakuru National Park, making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive AT;EITHER  Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge/L.nakuru lodge,Stem hotel,Bush buck hotel, Mbweha camp, Eldorado lodge, Back packers public camp site, Midland hotel or Wildlife club of KenYa guest house E.T.C (lunch, dinner and breakfast)

in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park.
Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild\’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Naivasha
Another morning game drive in Nakuru, then depart for Naivasha, arriving at EITHER;   Crater lake lodge, L.Naivasha country club, Burchs camp, Sawela lodge, Chui lodge, Rift valley lodge, Camp Carnelleys, Endchata campsite, Oldubai campsite, Fisherman camp, Fish Eagle Inn., Elsamare cansevation center, Eburru guet cottages, Kiboko luxury camp, L.Naivasha Sopa lodge, OR Naiburuta campsite.

in time for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals – there are no predators.
Return to Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7:   Naivasha -Maasai Mara
Depart after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, arriving AT;

 Mara Sopa Lodge,AA lodges,  Mara Sarova camp, Siana springs(Intrepids), Kichakani camp,Mara Serena camp, Kilina camp, Elengata Olerai camp, Mara safari club,Mara leisure camp,Base camp Explorer, Maasi mara migration camp, Cottars 1920 safari camp, Karen Blixen camp,Mara ngenche safari camp, Mara springs camp, Fig tree  camp, Tipilikwani camp, Kichwa tembo camp, Mara Amba camp, Governors camp(main or Little), Oloololo gate camp site, Mara kima camp, Rhino tented camp, Ashnil Mara safari camp, Elephat Pepper camp,Keekorok lodge or camp of your choice (lunch, dinner and breakfast included)

 

in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive as you get a feel of this vast game filled reserve. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 8 & 9: Maasai Mara
Spend two days in Maasai Mara, Kenya\’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant).
On one day you will go out with picnic lunch boxes to spend most of the day in the park coming back to the lodge late afternoon, while on the second day you will have an early morning pre-breakfast game drive, and another one late afternoon.
There will also be an optional visit to a local Maasai village.
All meals and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp.

Day 10: Back to Nairobi/Out
Depart Maasai Mara after breakfast, driving back to Nairobi to arrive approx 1300hrs. Drop at your hotel or transfer to the airport for onward flight home. End of our services.
